What is a Beagle?
Beagles are scent hounds. They were bred to follow smells and hunt in packs.
What are they like to live with?
Breed guidance describes cheerful, social and easygoing tendencies. Company often matters, but each dog has their own personality.
Walks, play and training
A walk can become a sniffing project. Try sniff walks, food-search games and reward-based training. Use secure outdoor spaces.
Coat and grooming
Short fur still sheds. Weekly brushing is a useful starting point, adjusted to your dog.
Grooming Planner confirms the actual coat before building a routine.
Plan coat care ↗Size and fit
Two common height groups are under about 33 cm and about 33–38 cm. Neither chooses a product size: measure your dog.
Actual measurements decide clothing, harness and collar fit.
